Job Summary
Camarillo Fitness is a boutique fitness franchise focused on improving member experience through group exercise while still providing a unique and individualized regime for each member. We are seeking a qualified Assistant Studio Manager to drive sales and service excellence for our professional group fitness training facilities. The role involves supporting daily operations, managing staff, and enhancing member experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, sales ability, and a passion for fitness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and exceed sales and operational budgets
- Lead sales initiatives (events, outreach)
- Oversee sales process and systems
- Support and evaluate staff performance
- Ensure compliance with policies
- Hire, train, and schedule staff
- Recruit and onboard new employees
- Lead by example in studio activities
- Mentor new hires
- Maintain brand consistency
- Monitor sales team and fitness team responsibilities
- Meet KPIs, revenue, inventory, payroll, and maintenance goals
- Drive sales through outreach programs
- Implement new technologies with leadership
- Stay updated on industry trends
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field; management experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible schedule including days, evenings, holidays, weekends
- Passion for fitness and health
- Proven sales leadership REQUIRED
- Leadership and management skills
- 1-2 years of management experience
- Experience in fitness industry preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fitness/wellness environments
- Knowledge of membership management and CRM platforms
- Facility maintenance and equipment management knowledge
- Experience with multi-location operations
- MS Office troubleshooting skills
Salary: $20 - $25 per hour
