Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Development
- Write and format compelling content for various digital channels, including weekly email marketing campaigns, a consistent flow of targeted social media posts and campaigns, ad copy, website content, blog articles, and product descriptions.
- Adapt writing style and voice to suit the unique identity and audience of each of our brands.
- Utilize and leverage content tools like Jasper for generating initial drafts, outlines, or ideas, and Surfer SEO for on-page optimization guidance, ensuring content is both creative and effective.
- Collaborate closely with our Graphic Designer to coordinate visual assets for all content, providing clear direction and feedback.
- Digital Marketing Execution & Scheduling
- Set up, schedule, and deploy weekly email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp, including list segmentation and basic A/B testing.
- Schedule and publish social media content across all relevant platforms via SocialPilot, monitoring engagement, and ensuring consistent posting.
- Perform content updates, formatting, and minor troubleshooting on our WordPress/WooCommerce websites, linking with external developers for technical issues and new features as needed.
- Assist with data collection from tools like Ahrefs, Lucky Orange, Google Analytics, and Lead Forensics to support the Marketing Director's analysis.
- Marketing Operations & Team Support
- Act as a liaison with external marketing partners (e.g., web development for complex site issues, specialized content freelancers for project overflow), facilitating communication, monitoring timelines, and coordinating project needs.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline marketing workflows and automate repetitive tasks by leveraging features within Monday.com and our other marketing platforms.
- Actively utilize Mailchimp automation features (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart reminders, tag-based automations) to set up/manage automated email sequences, enhancing engagement efficiency.
- Support efficient marketing workflows and operational processes by effectively utilizing Monday.com for task management and project tracking.
- Organize and maintain marketing data, assets, and documentation.
What You'll Bring:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a digital marketing role that included direct content creation responsibilities (e.g., writing emails, social posts, web copy).
- Excellent Writing & Editing Skills: A proven ability to write clear, compelling, and grammatically correct marketing copy for diverse digital channels. Experience adapting writing style for different brand voices is highly valued.
- Digital Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience with key digital marketing platforms:
- Email marketing (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Social media management and scheduling (e.g., SocialPilot).
- Content management systems (e.g.,WordPress/WooCommerce).
- Familiarity with content support tools like Jasper and Surfer SEO.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Teams and OneNote.
- Understanding of design workflows and collaboration with designers.
- Automation & AI Aptitude: A curiosity and willingness to learn how to leverage automation and AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance output.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple concurrent content streams and deadlines.
- Data Competence: Comfortable working with data and generating basic performance reports, with an understanding of Google Analytics. Familiarity with Ahrefs, Lucky Orange, or Lead Forensics is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for internal team and external vendor correspondence.
- Proactive & Creative: A self-starter who takes initiative, brings new ideas for content, is resourceful, and seeks to learn, particularly in AI/Automation areas.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- A portfolio or samples of your digital content writing.
