Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager who will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies with a focus on data-driven decision making. This role requires a blend of strong analytical expertise, a strategic mindset, and project management skills to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth across wholesale and retail channels in the gift and home décor industry. The ideal candidate will develop and execute integrated marketing strategies, manage content production, optimize campaigns using data insights, and oversee social media performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives including brand growth as well as customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Cross-functionally work with creative, product, web, and sales teams to ensure consistency and alignment in messaging and campaign execution.
- Stay informed on the latest marketing trends, social media developments, and digital marketing technologies.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and experimentation to keep the marketing strategy fresh and innovative.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve campaign goals.
- Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
- Analyze key marketing data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, identify trends, and optimize engagement strategies.
- Implement and manage marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics dashboards.
- Lead market research efforts to gather customer insights, track competitor activities, and assess industry trends.
- Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute a social media strategy based on trend analysis and performance metrics to enhance brand presence, engagement, and product sales.
- Manage and grow social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) including tasks such as creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to audience interactions.
- Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors for partnership opportunities.
- Project & Content Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of marketing materials, including digital content, ads, email campaigns, and printed promotional materials.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and web team to develop compelling content and creative assets.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed for content creation, paid advertising, or other marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing with a focus on strategy, data analysis, and social media management.
- Proven experience in creating and executing successful social media campaigns across various platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, CRM systems, etc.).
- Proficient in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.) and paid advertising platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data and insights clearly.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a tactical level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2C, B2B and e-commerce marketing.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising best practices.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of project management software (Trello, Basecamp, Slack, etc.).
- Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand content for social media.
- Experience in the Gift & Home industry is a plus.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
