FOX59, the #1 newsroom in Indianapolis, is looking for a Digital Content Manager to grow and lead our connected TV (CTV) and digital video platforms, including the FOX59 NOW app (for Roku, Amazon Fire and Apple TV). This is a hands-on, creative role that involves producing original content, building out live and on-demand streaming schedules, managing YouTube growth, and coordinating with both our newsroom and sales teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Program, schedule, and manage content across the FOX59 NOW CTV app
  • Produce and edit original shows and segments using OBS Studio and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Work with the newsroom and sales to create compelling sponsored content and digital-first programming
  • Manage a content calendar and track projects from pitch to publish
  • Grow FOX59’s YouTube channel with strong metadata, SEO strategies, thumbnails, and playlists
  • Lead development of short- and long-form series tailored for digital viewers in Central Indiana
  • Monitor performance metrics to guide programming and promotion strategies
  • Ensure all content meets station standards for quality and journalistic integrity
  • Keep up with digital trends and tools that can enhance our content, formats, or production workflow
  • Other digital duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, digital media, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with OBS Studio, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and related tools
  • Strong video editing and digital storytelling skills
  • Working knowledge of YouTube Studio, SEO, thumbnails, and monetization
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Excellent communication, editorial judgment, and attention to detail
  • Interest in local news, community issues, and building digital audiences
