Kaiser Permanente is hiring: Ophthalmic Photographer in Los Angeles

This is a temporary, entry-level position lasting approximately three months.

Responsibilities

• Operate ophthalmic imaging equipment, such as Zeiss Fundus Flash III, to photograph eye structures including the anterior segment, ocular adnexa, and fundus.
• Explain test procedures and their purposes to patients.
• Monitor and evaluate test readings during procedures.
• Perform fluorescing angiography and ultrasound diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare examination results for physician interpretation.
• Consult with physicians regarding test results and notify them of abnormalities.
• Manage requests for equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an ophthalmic photographer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology is preferred.
