Job Summary: The Assistant Web Producer is an entry-level position supporting the production, deployment, and management of web functionalities across retail and enterprise platforms. Under the guidance of senior team members, the role involves creating and maintaining web pages, managing site content, and supporting marketing initiatives. The position reports to the Manager, Web Experience, and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure effective web operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Assist in developing and maintaining web environments aligned with site strategy.
- Support creation, editing, and management of web assets, ensuring content aligns with branding.
- Coordinate content and promotional scheduling to optimize engagement.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance for new features.
- Maintain understanding of system capabilities and assist in implementing new functionalities.
- Monitor website performance and assist in reporting insights.
- Provide on-call support outside regular hours for routine fixes and deployments.
- Uphold website standards and ensure consistent application across assets.
- Support basic operational duties within the Web Production team.
User Experience:
- Assist in producing interactive content for a consistent cross-channel experience.
- Support implementation of customer experience strategies using analytics tools.
- Help customize web content for personalized user experiences.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and design teams to optimize web pages.
- Partner with IT to provide feedback on new system design and architecture.
- Engage with cross-departmental teams to improve site assets and functionality.
- Participate in training and development to enhance skills.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of combined experience in:
- Three years of general experience in administrative, merchandising, technical, or responsible work, with knowledge of web production and interpersonal skills.
- OR one year of education above high school level substituted for nine months of experience, up to a maximum of a four-year Bachelor's degree for three years of general experience.
And
Minimum two years of specialized experience in website production, content management, metrics analysis, information architecture, and web usability, demonstrating the ability to collaborate across teams.
