Insights & Analytics
ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. Our recommendations and solutions are based on rigorous research and analysis underpinned by deep expertise and thought leadership.
We are seeking a Consultant to join our Marketing Strategy practice. The role of the Consultant is to lead project delivery and impact across solutions as well as contribute to innovation for the Marketing Strategy group. As a Consultant, you will lead the delivery of core projects across the marketing space including: customer journey, segmentation, growth strategy, product innovation, brand positioning, messaging & communication, and promotion planning.
What Youll Do
- Motivate, coach and serve as a role model for project team members.
- Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects and specifically within marketing projects.
- Support the development of capabilities and offerings in the practice.
- Direct 2-3 projects simultaneously, honing analytic and project management skills.
- Lead the creation of materials, presentations, analyses, and other deliverables.
- Leverage quantitative skills to derive answers to clients' marketing questions.
- Evaluate, assess and analyze the data necessary to provide solutions to the clients particular business information needs.
- Communicate the data results to the client, with an emphasis on answering the business question as opposed to the analytical and reporting processes used.
What Youll Bring
- MBA or an advanced degree in a Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics, Psychology, Strategy, or related fields. In lieu of an MBA or PhD, 6-8 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
- 5+ years experience in market research and/or marketing strategy.
- 2+ years of professional services experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in strong problem solving and using facts & insights to drive recommendations.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Proven track record of client impact.
- High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative.
- Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, leading and managing teams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers.
- Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset.
- Analytic problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlook.
- Client service orientation.
