The Waunakee Public Library is hiring a Library Assistant. This entry-level position will be scheduled 15-20 hours a week. We are looking for candidates who can work Sundays, weekday evenings, and Fridays during the day.

Library or related customer service experience is desired but not required; a working knowledge of computers is essential. Successful candidates will be responsible for greeting and helping library visitors, checking out and checking in materials using a computer network, shelving library materials, answering customers’ questions, opening and closing the library, and other tasks as assigned.

Starting hourly wage is $19.71 per hour. Interested candidates must complete the online application form.
