We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of Palo Alto Networks security products, tackling complex design challenges, and mentoring junior designers. Your Impact
Lead Design Initiatives: You'll own and deliver large, complex projects, from conception to completion. This includes leading design reviews, advocating for feature priority changes based on business context, and proactively identifying and addressing potential problems.
Enhance Our Design System: You'll contribute to and enhance our common design system modules, as well as improve our UX tools and processes, considering how they impact other collaborating teams.
Drive Product Quality: You'll go above and beyond to improve product quality, proactively working on initiatives like testing and process enhancements.
Collaborate & Influence: You'll team up with and influence peers across different teams and organizations to solve cross-functional problems. You'll also be a UX representative for QA issues and other teams, participating in design meetings for other products and networking outside your immediate area of expertise.
Mentor & Develop: You'll play a key role in mentoring and professionally developing team members at lower job levels, and may coordinate the activities of other designers.
Innovate & Solve: You'll work on complex and often vague problems in the security world, requiring in-depth evaluation and creative application of methods to find solutions. You'll identify problems or opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Present & Share Knowledge: You'll utilize your excellent presentation skills, often sought out by other teams for tech talks, and share your highly respected skills and knowledge.
Contribute to Hiring: You'll be actively involved in interviews to assess design candidates.

Your Experience
8+ years of experience in UX design in enterprise products, with a significant portion in a lead or principal role, demonstrating the ability to own and deliver large, complex projects from conception to completion. Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools.
Exceptional ability to translate complex requirements, user needs, and research insights into clear, intuitive designs, effectively communicating them to diverse stakeholders from engineers to SVPs.
Proven success navigating complex enterprise environments and leading outcome-driven design initiatives that lead to complex interactions, large-scale navigation and information architecture decisions.
Lead design reviews, advocate for feature priority changes based on business context, and proactively identify and address potential problems at a strategic level.
A collaborative, thoughtful approach, comfortable operating autonomously while also mentoring and enabling others.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $133,000 - $215,500/YR.
