The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing digital marketing strategies, developing and coordinating marketing collateral, planning and managing tradeshows, and supporting internal event coordination. All efforts are aligned with the overall marketing strategy set by executive leadership. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all marketing initiatives are cohesive, strategically focused, and effectively support R&R’s broader business objectives.

Essential Job Functions
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing digital marketing strategies, developing and coordinating marketing collateral, planning and managing tradeshows, and supporting internal event coordination. All efforts are aligned with the overall marketing strategy set by executive leadership. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all marketing initiatives are cohesive, strategically focused, and effectively support R&R’s broader business objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Digital Marketing:
- Administer the company’s external website and webstore, managing content updates, optimizations, and enhancements in alignment with broader marketing objectives. Ensure functionality, visual consistency, and SEO best practices.
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent, brand-aligned presence across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and any future social channels. Regularly analyze and adjust strategies based on performance metrics to enhance engagement and reach.
- Design and execute email marketing campaigns, ensuring audience segmentation, brand alignment, and measurable results. Continuously optimize campaigns using performance data and marketing automation tools.
- Create and collaborate on the development of digital marketing materials, including blog posts, videos, presentations, and infographics, ensuring all content aligns with R&R’s brand and marketing objectives.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key digital marketing metrics such as website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates, and email performance. Provide regular performance reports to the Director of Marketing with actionable insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Monitor competitor activities across digital channels (social media, websites, and email campaigns) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas where R&R can improve or differentiate. Provide insights and recommendations based on competitor analysis.
- Perform ongoing SEO work including keyword research, on-page optimization, backlink building, and regular audits to improve search engine rankings, organic traffic, and overall online visibility.
- Marketing Collateral Development & Coordination:
- Develop marketing materials, including brochures, sell sheets, digital assets, and advertisements, ensuring alignment with R&R’s brand standards and overall marketing strategy.
- Manage the production of marketing collateral, including print and digital materials.
- Tradeshow Planning & Execution:
- Manage all aspects of tradeshow planning, including logistics, booth design, coordination of marketing materials, and execution of pre- and post-event follow-up. Ensure each tradeshow effort is aligned with the company's strategic goals, delivering a consistent and impactful brand experience.
- Develop tradeshow-specific collateral, such as banners and promotional items.
- Plan and coordinate internal company events, including service awards, holiday luncheons, and other team-building activities. Ensure events align with the company culture and promote a positive, engaging work environment.
- Collaborate with and support the Joy Committee in planning and coordinating internal company events. Work alongside committee members to ensure events reflect the company’s culture and foster a positive, engaging work environment. Guide the committee by setting agendas, overseeing timelines, and delegating tasks as needed to enable successful event execution and maintain a cohesive team approach.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Graphics, Advertising, Business Administration or related field is required.
- Must be skilled/ certified in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, Website building/maintenance.
- Proven relevant experience of two or more years in the same field is required.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- Positive attitude with a high level of accountability, personal drive, ambition, integrity.
- Understands how own work contributes to the larger processes and strategies within the Marketing department.
- An individual’s daily routine will consist mostly of technical, administrative work with occasional exposure to the manufacturing environment, which may have some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, and atmospheric conditions. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, including a respirator, must be worn in designated areas.
- Individuals must possess the ability to perform light physical activity, which includes infrequent handling of materials up to 30 pounds, standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, repetitive hand, and finger motion.
