Are you a master of the Microsoft and Google Suites, with a firm grasp of social media and email platforms? Do you love coordinating projects, proofreading with a keen eye, and helping a team shine? If this sounds like you, or you like a challenge, let's talk! Allen Lund Company is seeking a Marketing Assistant to assist the MarCom team in the execution of daily operations!
What You'll Do (Your Superpowers in Action!): Your primary responsibility is to assist the MarCom team in their daily operations. This position requires full knowledge and experience in Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Google Suite, as well as familiarity with social media and email platforms.
- Coordination & Communication Champion: You'll assist with social media postings, serving as a backup and helping with the posting schedule and calendar. You'll handle weekly email communications with carriers and provide the weekly reports.
- You'll also assist with the Internal Company Newsletter and help update knowledge bases like NotebookLM.
- Campaign & Content Creator: You'll aid in marketing campaign development. Take the lead on special mailings and newsletters, which includes printing, creating labels, and mailing. You'll be responsible for all proofing of e-newsletters, press releases, and correspondence. You'll also handle the writing and mailing of correspondence, including thank you notes.
- Administrative All-Star: You'll coordinate UPS outgoing and incoming packages and answer phones. You'll maintain individual and office databases, as well as department files and Google Drive. You'll also track expiration dates on forms (like insurance certificates) and maintain current versions on the marketing Portal. You'll assist with marketing requests via ALX and maintain ALC information on Government websites, submitting documents as necessary.
- College degree highly desired or equivalent experience
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
- Ability to think outside the box
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $50,000 per year
