Automotive Service Writer Job at Highway 12 Motorsports in Nashville

We are currently seeking ​a full-time Automotive Service Writer to become an integral part of our team! You will need the experience and skills to be able to diagnose necessary repairs for automotive vehicles.  We are a Motorsports company and also repair other types of vehicles and units.  So, experience in Auto, Cycle, ATV, etc. will be considered; however, automotive is our primary need. We are not looking for tire or lube techs. We need qualified applicants with actual experience. This is a non-commissioned position, with pay depending on experience. Business/Work Hours:

• Tuesday thru Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM
• Saturday, 8:30AM-4:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose automotive vehicles
• Perform tasks as delegated by Service Manager
• Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments

• Previous verifiable experience as a Automotive Service Writer
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
