$110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

The iconic il Buco Corporation is seeking a Director of Content & Communications. This role will collaborate closely with the Owner to manage all digital marketing efforts, from strategy to execution.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to drive the digital marketing strategy for all il Buco brands, including restaurants and homewares.

About the role:

The Director of Content & Communications will shape and implement innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with the brand's voice and vision. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital marketing, SEO, content strategy, and creative direction, with a particular focus on driving engagement, customer retention, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and lead a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for all Il Buco brands, integrating SEO, affiliate marketing, content strategy, and digital advertising across platforms such as social media, email, web, SMS/mobile, and emerging technologies.
  • Creative Direction: Oversee the creative output for digital marketing efforts, including asset creation, copywriting, and visual content. Ensure all materials are aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and messaging.
  • SEO & Affiliate Marketing: Drive SEO initiatives to enhance organic search visibility, and manage affiliate marketing programs across various platforms to boost brand awareness and sales.
  • Digital Advertising: Manage digital advertising campaigns, including Google keywords, display ads, and A/B testing. Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns for performance and ROI.
  • Customer Retention & CRM: Leverage CRM software and retention strategies to drive customer loyalty and repeat business. Collaborate with internal teams to execute customer lifecycle strategies.
  • Audience Segmentation: Implement audience segmentation strategies to tailor marketing efforts and increase engagement. Utilize data-driven insights to refine targeting and personalization.
  • Multi-Channel Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts across all marketing channels, ensuring a consistent, compelling brand narrative across social media, email, web, and mobile.
  • Performance Analytics: Use data and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, provide actionable insights, and adjust strategies to achieve optimal results.
  • Tools & Platforms: Lead the use of various tools, including Klaviyo, Share-A-Sale, Monday.com, Google products (Slides, Sheets, etc.), and social media management platforms, to streamline marketing processes and campaigns.
  • Team & Talent Management: Oversee and coordinate relevant freelancers, and external consultants—ensuring alignment, accountability, and high-quality output across all digital initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in senior level digital marketing, content strategy, and communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in SEO, affiliate marketing, content strategy, and digital advertising across multiple channels (social, email, web, SMS/mobile).
  • Preferred experience in retail/e-commerce and hospitality/restaurant F&B marketing.
  • Experience in creative output, including asset creation, copywriting, and visual content for digital campaigns.
  • Strong background in digital advertising, including Google keywords, display ads, and A/B testing.
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer retention strategies to build long-term brand loyalty.
  • Proficiency in Mac software, Outlook, Klaviyo, Share-A-Sale, Monday.com, and social media management platforms.
  • Expertise in Google products, including Slides, Sheets, and Analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and growth.
