York Employment is hiring: Graphic Designer in Ontario

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support both our e-commerce and creative teams. In this role, you’ll manage digital assets, create compelling visual content, and ensure brand consistency across multiple platforms. What You’ll Do

• Design and produce materials such as packaging, instruction sheets, catalogs, brochures, flyers, logos, presentations, and spec sheets
• Edit and enhance photos, line art, and lifestyle images for quality and realism
• Apply color correction and retouching to ensure visual consistency
• Maintain proper image standards including perspective, resolution (dpi), and file formats
• Upload final assets into the company’s digital asset library in required formats (CMYK, TIF, etc.)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure accurate and timely creative deliverables
• Create clipping paths, crop, and resize images as needed
• Review and QA final images before delivery or publishing

What You’ll Bring

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume graphic design or image editing environment
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite tools
• Sharp eye for detail and solid understanding of digital image standards and color theory
• Adobe Certification a plus (not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, dependable, and deadline-driven
• Ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas
• Experience with databases, design software, and word processing programs
• Knowledge of printing standards and preparing files for print and web
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Primarily office-based with regular computer use
• Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs
• Close vision required for detailed image work
• Moderate noise level with occasional exposure to mechanical equipment

Salary info:

$24 - $26 / hr
