PETCHEFY is a modern pet nutrition company based in Miami, FL, delivering personalized, human-grade meals tailored to your dog’s unique needs. Our mission is to help pet parents take control of their dog’s health through better food, backed by science and made with care. Addressing the growing concern of preventable diseases in dogs due to poor diets, PETCHEFY collaborates with veterinary nutritionists to create balanced, fresh meals. Our approach is rooted in research, using food lab testing and peer-reviewed studies to ensure optimal nutrition for pets.
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid / Remote options for the right candidate)
Commitment: Part-Time (15–20 hrs/week to start)
Compensation: Performance-based stipend + equity participation tied to growth KPIs
Reports to: Co-Founder/Head of Growth
Role Overview
We’re looking for a creative operator who lives and breathes social video—TikTok, YouTube, and Meta Reels—and knows how to turn raw ideas into scroll-stopping, shareable content that drives results.
This is a hands-on, part-time role with real upside—you’ll be rewarded not just for posting, but for growth. Your performance will directly tie to incentives, and you’ll have the chance to earn equity as we scale.
What You’ll Do
- Content Strategy & Execution: Build and execute a platform-native content plan for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Reels to grow followers, drive engagement, and convert viewers into customers.
- Hands-On Production: Script, shoot, edit, and post short-form and long-form video—optimized for discovery, watch time, and repeat engagement.
- Trendspotting & Real-Time Content: Spot trending sounds, viral formats, and cultural moments that resonate with dog owners and Miami’s active, health-conscious community.
- Editorial Calendar Management: Maintain a consistent posting cadence, balancing evergreen educational content, behind-the-scenes, and reactive trend content
- Creator & Influencer Collabs: Identify and partner withinfluencers, pet experts, and localcreators to amplify reach.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs weekly (views, engagement, conversions), apply insights to improve, and report growth results to the founders.
- Cross-Team Alignment: Collaborate with marketing, events, and ops so social content supports product drops, partnerships, and key community moments.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years creating high-performing video for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and/or Meta Reels
- Proven ability to grow an audience organically and through paid boosts
- Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.
- Comfortable both filming and being on camera
- Strong sense of platform trends, audience psychology, and how to turn them into sales
- Startup-ready mindset—self-motivated, resourceful, thrives without layers of approvals
Compensation & Incentives
- Performance-Based Stipend: Monthly base tied to output & engagement benchmarks
- Equity Opportunity: Earn up equity tied to hitting growth KPIs (follower growth, engagement %, lead generation, and attributed sales) over 6–12 months
- Flexible schedule—work when you’re most creative, as long as deliverables are met
- Priority to scale into a larger role as PETCHEFY grows into new markets
