Piping Designer Opportunity
Do you have a passion for meticulously crafting piping designs?
Selectek is on the hunt for a talented Piping Designer to join our team for a remote, 9-month engagement with a well-respected Mechanical Engineering firm, with strong potential for extension.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Transforming project requirements into detailed and accurate fabrication drawings using P&IDs and PFDs.
- Utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D to bring piping systems to life.
- Demonstrating your proficiency in creating clear and concise piping isometric drawings.
- Ensuring your designs adhere to industry best practices, relevant regulatory standards, and established codes.
To be a strong candidate, you'll possess:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Industrial Piping design.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D and its functionalities.
- A solid understanding of piping isometrics and the ability to create them efficiently.
- Familiarity with best practices in piping design, along with applicable industry standards and codes.
Bonus points for:
- Experience working within a remote team environment.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to effectively communicate with engineers and other stakeholders.
