eBay is seeking an experienced and visionary Associate Creative Director (ACD) to lead creative development of fashion campaigns in the U.S. market. As a key leader within the Brand Creative team, this individual will lead all aspects of the ideation and execution of coordinated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channelsbringing the eBay brand to life in compelling, culturally relevant ways, through the lens of fashion.

This role requires deep experience in directing agency partners, crafting creative strategy, and developing content that resonates with fashion-obsessed, fashion-forward consumers. The ACD will be the day-to-day creative lead for U.S. fashion initiatives and a trusted partner to cross-functional customers in brand marketing, merchandising, social, product, and more. The ideal candidate brings strong taste, strategic insight, and a collaborative mindsetbalancing business objectives with resonant storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative vision for eBay's fashion category, delivering high-impact marketing campaigns that span the full funnelfrom brand awareness to retention.
  • Provide strategic and editorial direction to internal teams and external agencies across media formats including digital video, paid social, display, influencer, editorial content, events, and CRM.
  • Translate marketing briefs into creative concepts that drive performance and elevate brand perception in the U.S. fashion space.
  • Lead and inspire a small cross-functional creative team (fashion copy manager and art director), encouraging an environment of collaboration, experimentation, and creative perfection.
  • Oversee the development and refinement of campaign assets, ensuring work aligns with eBay's voice, brand identity, and the fashion category's tone and trends.
  • Guide day-to-day agency relationshipsbriefing, reviewing, and optimizing creative work with clear, actionable feedback.
  • Partner with social strategists, eBay's version of merchandisers, and marketing leads to integrate product positioning, fashion trends, and consumer insights into campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing leaders to evolve eBay Fashion's brand narrative and connect with audiences.
  • Stay current on industry, fashion, and cultural trendsbringing fresh perspectives and creative approaches to campaign work.
  • Ensure all work is delivered on time, on brand, and on brief, while managing scope and resource constraints.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of creative experience in advertising, fashion marketing, or digital brand storytelling, with at least 3 years in a leadership or ACD role
  • Shown proficiency in leading culturally resonant work on digital and traditional media platforms
  • Demonstrated experience managing agencies, freelancers, and internal teams across campaign lifecycles
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. fashion market, consumer behavior, and trendsfrom high fashion to streetwear to circular shopping
  • Experience working across coordinated channels including online video, influencer activations, paid social, CRM, editorial, and in-person events
  • Excellent art direction and copy direction skills; ability to review and elevate both visual and written work
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and align partners from multiple teams
  • Portfolio showcasing outstanding creative leadership in fashion, lifestyle, or adjacent industries
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to shifting business needs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Design, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$101,200 - $174,100

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
