Position Summary:
As a Videographer at Witherite Law Group, you will create high-quality audiovisual content to support legal and marketing objectives. This role requires a creative and technically skilled individual capable of developing innovative video solutions, managing end-to-end production processes, and ensuring compelling multimedia assets. You will work closely with the Marketing and Communications department to execute on-site shoots, conduct interviews, and manage post-production tasks including editing, graphics, motion graphics, and animations. Ensuring videos meet brand standards, are formatted for various platforms, and include closed captions is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative audiovisual solutions for legal and marketing issues.
- Generate ideas for video projects in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team.
- Conduct on-site shoots, including audio, camera operation, talent direction, and handling special lighting or multiple locations.
- Interview clients, attorneys, employees, and others, capturing valuable sound bites.
- Perform post-production editing, including reviewing footage, editing, color correction, graphics, animations, and final output using Adobe Premiere.
- Use graphics and special effects to enhance videos, ensuring brand standards and technical quality.
- Produce educational, promotional, and event videos, managing objectives, shoots, and format conversions.
- Create content for OTT, social media, and web applications, including scheduling and editing.
- Upload videos to web and media libraries.
- Oversee closed captioning production.
- Schedule studio and off-site video shoots.
- Operate cameras for live event feeds.
- Travel locally up to 50%, with reliable transportation and a clean driving record (reimbursed mileage).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in video production, with knowledge of multimedia hardware and software.
- Availability for non-standard work hours.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with legal and marketing teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Office environment with normal business hours.
- Stationary position up to 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office, including stairs.
- Operate computer and office machinery.
- Move supplies up to 10 pounds occasionally.
- Effective communication and observation skills required.
