Our client’s Content Studio is dedicated to creating exceptional branded video and narrative content that brings the brand and values to life. Our team crafts compelling, audience-centric stories for all digital platforms, enhancing the brand’s presence across all B2C and B2B touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

Upfront & Creative Development

  • Lead marketing‑brief kickoff conversations; translate briefs into clear scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support creative concepting (treatments, scripts, storyboards, shot lists) and align stakeholders across Product Marketing, Brand, Comms, and Legal.
  • Define success metrics and approval paths with support of the EP; set production/post plans accordingly.

Production Execution & Oversight

  • Oversee pre‑production and on‑set logistics to ensure smooth, on‑schedule shoots.
  • Coordinate crew, talent, equipment, and locations; input to call sheets and schedules either directly or by managing vendor partners.
  • Troubleshoot in real time and execute contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, permits, insurance/COIs, and risk management.
  • Manage studio (SF) and on‑location shoots while maintaining high production value.
  • Partner with the DP, Creative Director, and Post‑Production teams to keep execution aligned to creative goals.
  • Ensure footage, audio, and assets are backed up, logged, and organized for post and delivered to our Sr. Content Creator and/or post partners.
  • Coordinate editors, motion designers, colorists, and sound to keep pipelines running efficiently either directly or via vendor partners
  • Own edit schedules, review cycles, and feedback to maintain quality and momentum.
  • Ensure final content meets brand standards and channel specs; manage versioning/localization and accessibility needs.
  • Drive clean handoffs from production through delivery and archive.
  • Budget Management, Licensing and Contracts
  • Optimize budgets by balancing external vendors with in‑house capabilities.
  • Track and manage budgets-Negotiate with crews, studios, and post vendors to realize long‑term savings.
  • Oversee licensing, contracts, production insurance, and talent agreements alongside the vendor partners and internal teams (legal, SF Office, etc)
  • Manage delivery workflows (stock/music licensing, editorial, finishing, mix, versioning, asset delivery/DAM).

Project Management

  • Serve as operational lead across projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
  • Act as primary liaison among creative, production, post partners, and external vendors.
  • Maintain production calendars and trackers to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure seamless handoffs between pre‑production, production, and post.
  • Collaboration & Quality Control
  • Partner with creative and product marketing from project initiation to align on vision, logistics, and delivery plans.
  • Oversee QC across production and post deliverables to ensure brand consistency and technical accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years as a Senior Producer in a content studio, production/post‑production, brand environment. Agency experience a plus.
  • Brand‑side experience with SaaS (or B2B software) strongly preferred, with demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership from brief to delivery.
  • Strong expertise in production logistics, budgeting, and resource management; familiarity with AICP/AICE standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of post workflows (editorial, motion/CG integration, product interpretations, color, mix, finishing, delivery specs).
  • Experience with licensing, vendor management, and production legal.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with remote/distributed teams is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for on‑site shoots as needed.

Compensation: $70-$75/hr

Duration: 1 year, highly likely to extend

Location: Hybrid (in studio as needed) San Francisco, CA
