Role Overview:

The Food Group is looking for a Media Buyer with deep experience across paid social, programmatic, and search channels. This role is ideal for a digital media expert who has successfully planned, executed, and optimized campaigns for CPG clients across both B2B and B2C segments.

The right candidate combines platform fluency with strategic thinking and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative agency environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute full-funnel paid media campaigns across:
  • Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube)
  • Programmatic Display & Video (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, ZoomInfo DSP)
  • Paid Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads)
  • Lead media activation for both consumer and trade audiences, including:
  • Foodservice professionals
  • Culinary influencers
  • Translate marketing objectives into data-driven media strategies that align with audience insights and channel best practices.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign management: pacing, optimization, QA, trafficking, audience segmentation, and creative rotation.
  • Collaborate closely with media and account teams to deliver seamless, insight-driven campaigns.
  • Deliver performance reporting that includes actionable insights and strategic recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Demonstrate fluency in 1P and 3P audience data, leveraging CRM insights, site analytics, and syndicated data to inform audience targeting, segmentation, and campaign optimization.
  • Stay current on food industry trends, platform updates, and CPG shopper behaviors.
  • Manage platform/vendor relationships and participate in their reviews and beta opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience buying and managing paid media across social, programmatic, and search — ideally within an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated success managing campaigns for CPG brands targeting both B2B (foodservice, distributors, operators) and B2C (retail consumers) audiences.
  • Platform expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, DV360 or The Trade Desk, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with shopper marketing, retailer media networks, and culinary content is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of campaign measurement, attribution, and optimization across upper and lower funnel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and budgets with precision and agility.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in client-facing scenarios.
  • Google Ads and/or Meta certifications preferred.
