Known for our high-quality designs, attention to detail, and trend-driven products, we partner with some of the most iconic names in entertainment to bring fashion-forward apparel to life. As we continue to expand our collections and market reach, we're looking for a Tech Pack Designer to join our growing team.

Position Overview

As a Tech Pack Designer at CoCo Brands, you will be an essential link between design and production—translating creative concepts into precise technical specifications for manufacturing. You will work closely with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure fit, quality, and construction details meet brand and licensor expectations, from first sketch to final sample.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Specification Development: Create detailed tech packs including construction details, measurements, trims, fabric specs, labeling, and packaging in compliance with company and licensor standards.
  • Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers to interpret creative direction into technically executable styles, including simplifying licensed graphics and patterns where needed.
  • Sample Review & Feedback: Review proto and fit samples for quality, construction, and accuracy; communicate revisions clearly to overseas factories.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage timelines, sample revisions, and approvals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized documentation of tech packs, approvals, sample comments, and communication for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Illustration, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Prior experience in technical design or product development (apparel experience strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (essential); experience with PLM or similar tools a plus
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, patternmaking, and apparel manufacturing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers and managing revisions
  • Packaging tech pack experience is a strong plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Health insurance provided
  • A collaborative and creative work environment
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company
  • Exposure to high-profile licensed brands and exciting design projects
