AlphaGraphics is seeking an on-site Graphic Designer for Lisle Location. We are looking for someone with experience working in a fast-paced environment who has an eye for detail and enjoys working creatively and collaboratively in a team setting.
COMPANY OVERVIEW: As an established leader in the Printing, Marketing, and Design industries, our mission is to partner with customers from Mom-and-Pop shops to Fortune 500 organizations and provide them with the tools and expertise needed to grow their businesses. Our tight-knit team in Chicago is actively seeking a Graphic Designer to join us full time. The Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for designing and creating graphics to meet marketing or promotional needs, such as business cards, flyers, signs, banners, mailings, logos, and setting up customer files for quality finished products.

Work Schedule:
Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. Candidate must work on-site.
Location: Lisle, IL
Skillset and Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years designing creative advertising and marketing materials, including ads, social media posts, mailers, newsletters, and other collateral.
- 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms, creating and collating assets aligned with management's direction.
- Ability to understand client needs and collaborate with creative teams to generate compelling social content supporting marketing goals.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, XMPie; understanding the nuances of designing for print vs. digital.
- Attention to detail in layout, image editing, typography, and color; motion graphics experience is a plus.
- Computer literacy and comfort with numbers; prior data entry experience is a plus.
Essential Job Duties:
- Create and assemble final layouts for print using Adobe Suite.
- Consult with clients to discuss and determine layout designs.
- Develop designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Maintain an archive of images, photos, and previous work.
- Create and manage social media platforms for the business.
- Develop graphics and layouts for marketing materials, logos, and websites.
- Use software to fix existing files and generate new images.
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements.
- Create content for social media and maintain assets for platforms.
- Key qualities include: Creativity, teamwork, willingness to learn new software, problem-solving skills, and engagement.
