The Role We’re hiring a full-time Digital Advertising Strategist to lead our Google Ads campaigns and drive customer acquisition through data-driven performance marketing. Based in our Old Town Scottsdale office, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative, collaborative environment and knows how to scale digital ad accounts with precision. What You’ll Do Google Ads Campaign Management Own end-to-end strategy, creation, and optimization of all Google Ads campaigns—Search, Display, Shopping, and Performance Max. Conduct keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitive analysis to maximize ROAS. Write compelling ad copy and collaborate with our creative team on visual assets. Test, measure, and iterate regularly to improve click-through rate, quality score, and cost-per-acquisition. Monitor performance and budget pacing daily, providing weekly and monthly reports with insights and recommendations. Performance Strategy & Growth Develop scalable strategies for new product launches, promotions, and evergreen campaigns. Identify new paid channels, A/B testing opportunities, and growth levers within Google Ads. Set and manage monthly performance targets, budgeting, and forecasting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with our founder and marketing teams to align marketing goals with business objectives. Partner with our e‑commerce team to ensure tracking, landing pages, and attribution are fully optimized. Stay on top of Google algorithm updates, digital ad trends, and platform changes to keep Sleepyhead ahead of the curve. Train team members to optimize Google Ads campaigns You’ll Thrive in This Role If You... Have 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, ideally in e-commerce or DTC. Are Google Ads certified and deeply familiar with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking. Love diving into data and turning insights into action. Write killer ad copy that converts. Are excited to work in-office full time in our creative, fast-paced headquarters in Old Town Scottsdale. Are curious, proactive, and always looking for ways to do things smarter Bonus Points For Experience with other ad platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube). Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce tools. Knowledge of conversion rate optimization or funnel strategy.
