About the Role:

The Community Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall living experience for the residents at our community in San Ramon.

This position is responsible for achieving the financial and operational goals established for the community. Accountable for ensuring optimal performance across all aspects of community operations, including personnel management, leasing, rent collection, resident services, maintenance, revenue enhancement, capital improvements, and oversight of contracted services. Maintains accurate reporting and ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including those related to fair housing and employment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing communities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Effective problem solving, written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, preparation of annual budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Knowledge of advanced sales, marketing, and apartment management.
  • Knowledge or similar knowledge in Property Mgmt. and Revenue Mgmt. software such as YARDI, ADP, CRM, Elevate, and Microsoft Office.
  • Requires a high level of organizational and time management skills.
  • On-site residency and/or current California Department of Real Estate License required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor on site teams.

  • Skilled in performance management, providing clear expectations, consistent feedback, and coaching for growth.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and team building to foster a collaborative and productive work culture.
  • Proficient in hiring, onboarding, and developing staff in alignment with company values and operational goals.
  • Maintains accountability while empowering employees to take initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse teams and build trust.
