We are seeking a dynamic UX Strategist to join our team and bridge strategic content planning with hands-on implementation. You'll collaborate across teams to align content with user experience goals, ensuring clarity and project success from start to finish.
Role Description
As a UX Strategist, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Content Strategy at AZDS, you will collaborate closely with Product Strategists, UX Designers, and Business Analysts, to collect and compile detailed project requirements and contribute to solution design. You’ll help to streamline design-to-development handoffs and ensure content aligns seamlessly with strategic goals and premium user experiences expected by luxury clientele. You'll actively support clients through structured content preparation, organization, and migration, advocate for their needs throughout each project phase, and deliver comprehensive training and documentation post-launch. Your efforts will foster project clarity, efficiency, and long-term client success.
Beyond technical proficiency, your role demands exceptional communication, proactive problem-solving, meticulous organization, and empathetic client advocacy. You will facilitate clear understanding among cross-functional teams by gathering requirements from the earliest project stages and seeing them through to final content implementation, ensuring no detail slips through the cracks. Your proactive approach will help resolve obstacles before they impact timelines, and your commitment to balancing both user and client needs will cultivate lasting client relationships. Your positive, service-oriented mindset will foster a collaborative atmosphere as you manage multiple projects with agility and drive innovation.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, proactive communicator with strong attention to detail and a collaborative spirit, who has experience in content strategy, content management systems, content migration, and UX principles.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Define UX Content Strategy:During the discovery and definition phases, you will define the project's content strategy by gathering high-level business and user requirements from client stakeholders through facilitating strategic workshops. Your work will inform the detailed design and technical strategy, ensuring a cohesive approach as the project progresses into subsequent phases.
- Information Architecture Definition:Define and document the project's information architecture—including content types, taxonomies, and sitemaps—to establish a structured foundation that supports user experience, content clarity, and long-term content scalability.
- Low-Fidelity Content Artifacts:Produce low-fidelity wireframes, content outlines, or other documentation to align both client and internal teams on page-level content strategy and preliminary functional requirements, enabling clarity and consensus early in the project lifecycle.
- Content Auditing and Optimization:Conduct content audits and recommend improvements around content structure, consistency, and UX alignment.
- Design-to-Development Handoff:Ensure design intentions are preserved throughout development by documenting and clearly communicating design intentions and functionality to the development team.
- Content Implementation: Assist clients with content preparation and organization using proven, repeatable processes to plan for content needs, support production of new content that aligns with the updated design strategy, and oversee content migrations.
- Client Education & Support: Understand client needs, educate them on managing their digital platforms, and integrate their feedback into continuous improvement processes.
- Tech-Savvy:Understands and thrives in digital environments, embraces new technical concepts quickly and can effectively work with technical team members.
- Self-Organized:Impeccable organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey key messages with context, conciseness, and a spirit of white-glove service
- Ownership & accountability:taking responsibility of a process or initiative knowing the “buck stops” with this person, even though multiple teams are involved in its execution

- Exceptional service-minded relationship-building skills to foster strong client partnerships.
- Strategic mindsetwith the ability to set clear objectives and KPIs for marketing initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skillsto address complex marketing challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Minimum 3 years in a content strategy, content management, or similar content-focused role.
- Agency experience strongly desired, including experience balancing multiple projects concurrently.
- Hands-on experience managing content within a CMS (ideally CMS-agnostic; WordPress, AEM, or similar platforms preferred).
- Proven track record communicating directly and regularly with clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity or experience working closely with UX designers, developers, or cross-functional digital teams.
- Experience in creating or contributing to information architecture (content types, taxonomy, sitemaps).
- Experience conducting content audits, migrations, or content quality assurance.
- Experience creating low-fidelity content artifacts such as wireframes, content outlines, or strategic documentation.
- Experience facilitating discovery workshops with client stakeholders, or an eagerness to learn and develop skills in workshop facilitation, is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary based on experienceand location

The estimated salary range for this role in Denver, CO is 60-75k annually, depending on experience and location.
