Junior Librarian



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Librarian to join our team in Los Angeles. This position is suitable for Pakistani nationals who are proficient in English and have no prior experience in the field. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist in managing and organizing our library collection, helping patrons find resources, and maintaining the overall appearance of the library.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials
- Provide excellent customer service by helping patrons find resources and answering reference questions
- Maintain a clean and organized library space
- Assist with planning and conducting library programs and events
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop new services or initiatives
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as data entry and processing new materials
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies, trends, and resources in the library field

Requirements:
- Pakistani nationality preferred
- Proficient in English (both spoken and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field is a plus
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided on-the-job
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with others
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Salary: $1500 per month
