Job Title: User Experience (UX) Designer
Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite in Los Angeles, CA

As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will own outcomes for a mature project, complex program, or an emerging area. You will define scalable and sustainable approaches to solve challenging problems, often with limited precedent, while also shaping and evangelizing long-term user experience and product strategies. You will guide design efforts across multiple adjacent projects, provide alternative perspectives that challenge existing thinking, and promote innovative solutions that mitigate potential harm.
You will serve as a subject matter expert in UX design principles, user-centered product development, design systems, and research methodologies, collaborating with cross-functional partners to anticipate user needs, resolve constraints, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to communicate, negotiate, and influence design intentions, ensuring alignment between design specifications and implementation.
- Analyze product impact and industry trends, leveraging data and metrics to develop innovative design solutions.
- Drive design improvements based on UX testing, stakeholder feedback, and evolving user needs.
- Build consensus on design strategies across stakeholders, clearly communicating design rationale.
- Align project priorities with broader goals, coordinating resource allocation within the team.
- Create design solutions that balance user insights, business needs, and industry trends.
- Anticipate evolving design constraints and proactively adapt strategies.
- Lead and implement holistic design systems or languages across multiple teams or products.
- Mentor UX designers and/or conduct user research to inform and validate design directions.
- Apply and evolve UX frameworks, patterns, and systems, ensuring adherence to accessibility guidelines and style guides.
- Propose and execute UX improvements by anticipating and solving product, strategy, or technology constraints.
