About The Job As a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to communicate with journalists and thought leaders; devise communication materials and campaigns; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and opinion formers; and develop print and web-based materials supporting these campaigns. We seek great communicators who can understand complex issues and explain them clearly, both in person and through written content such as blog posts, FAQs, and video scripts. The Google Ink team creates compelling blog posts, social media content, and other engaging materials to reach important audiences with Googles key messages across various products and issues. Part of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, Ink collaborates cross-functionally to communicate Googles latest news to fans, consumers, and journalists on owned platforms. As part of the Editorial team, you will write, edit, and publish content for our prominent channels. In this role, youll develop effective, strategic communications across multiple formats and platforms to convey Googles news and messages globally. You will work with editorial, communications, marketing, and social teams to ensure our content continues to reach and engage diverse audiences. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by skills, experience, and education. Write and edit articles for Googles official blog, The Keyword. Support programming for About.Google, including proposing content ideas, writing copy, and publishing. Create copy for The Keyword newsletter and assist with building and sending it using our email tools. Collaborate effectively with editorial, creative, and social teams within Google. Support content strategies for Google executives on social media when needed. Maintain a consistent brand voice, effective content strategy, and clear messaging across Googles editorial content.
