$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

Job Summary:

Our Chicago area client has a long term contract opportunity for a UX/UI Writer/Content Designer. This role will focus on creating optimal team member-friendly experiences. The ideal writer for this role will be self-motivated with a passion for using the right words at the times to create the most-effective user experiences. This role can be remote.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Development, Stakeholders, Researchers, Clinical, Legal, and UI/UX Design departments to ensure language is on-brand, clear, friendly, and concise.
• Keep current in assigned areas to consistently and effectively represent the brand within the marketplace.
• Manage timelines, milestones and internal details on project work to ensure timely delivery of work.
• Participate in and facilitate meetings with teams in this business area to understand and meet goals and objectives throughout project stages.
• Facilitate effective resolution of problems and roadblocks.
• Coordinate with appropriate internal teams to ensure consistency of language across all touchpoints including but not limited to:
• Calls-to-action
• Navigation
• Headers/Headlines
• Instructional text
• Error messages and system feedback
• Accessibility support
  

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years of writing experience
• At least 2 years of UI/UX writing experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Figma
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in writing, editing, copywriting, advertising, communications, journalism or similar
• Experience at a creative agency or large corporation
• Experience communicating ideas to business owners, stakeholders and senior management to persuade, gain acceptance, or sell
• Healthcare experience
• Experience creating/adapting to big brand editorial guidelines-working within an established voice as well as pushing its boundaries where appropriate
• Familiarity with technical documentation for customer-facing UI
