Editor, Digital News Media Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a digital newsroom environment.
• Experience meeting tight deadlines at a major news organization.
• Excellent news judgment and strong understanding of current affairs.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to work independently

Editor, Digital News Media Responsibilities:

• Write sharp, attention-grabbing headlines for news channel website.
• Quickly publish breaking news to social channels with accuracy and clarity.
• Leverage digital publishing tools to distribute content across platforms efficiently.
• Use editorial instincts and performance metrics to determine homepage story placement.
• Test headlines and images to maximize engagement and optimize performance.
