OmniTech Installation Group LLC is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Audio/Video & Satellite Specialist to join our fast-growing team. This part-time, commission-based role is ideal for someone experienced in DIRECTV installations and passionate about delivering top-tier service. You'll work independently in the field, managing both indoor and outdoor installation and service calls, while also educating customers and identifying sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations, upgrades, and service repairs for satellite TV systems (primarily DIRECTV)
- Use personal vehicle to travel to job sites within designated service areas
- Work safely at heights using ladders and on rooftops
- Access crawl spaces, attics, and basements to complete wiring and connections
- Explain product features and demonstrate system functionality to customers
- Use a secondary mobile phone to access and complete digital work orders
- Identify sales opportunities during service calls and upsell where applicable
- Ensure all services are functioning properly and to customer satisfaction
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear while working outdoors in varying conditions
- 2+ years' experience with DIRECTV or similar satellite system installation and service
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must have reliable personal vehicle (truck, van, or SUV) for job site travel
- Must possess basic hand tools and a power drill
- Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Able to lift up to 80 pounds and wear a tool belt (approx. 25 lbs)
- Must not exceed 275 lbs for ladder safety compliance
- Capable of standing for extended periods and distinguishing color-coded wires
- Commission-based pay with high earning potential
