About This Position
Support the College of Osteopathic Medicine’s enrollment management goals by coordinating communication, marketing and outreach efforts to prospective students, college faculty and advisors, and other internal and external constituents. Assist in the development and implementation of outreach programs, including email, direct mail, phone, and social media campaigns. Work within the office's database program to track and measure communication outreach efforts. Track and maintain office publication inventory. Coordinate mass mailing with Marketing and Outreach and other mail operations. Plan and implement strategies to market and advertise the College. Write copy for publications, website, emails, publication and press releases. Create presentations. Provide support in carrying out special initiatives as assigned by the Executive Director of Enrollment Systems and Analytics. Assist in representing the College at recruitment events, prospective student events for college level prospects, applicant interview days, admitted student events, and other events as needed. May require limited in-state and out-of-state travel. Assume all other reasonable professional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience - Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Planning/Management, or related field. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Demonstrated experience in communications, including, but not limited to writing, editing, social media, video, web, and content creation; or Demonstrated experience in event planning and management.

Certifications, Registrations, And/or Licenses

  • Valid Drivers License required.

Skills, Proficiencies, And/or Knowledge

  • Excellent writing skills, verbal communication and technical skills are required.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Must be able to work independently as well in team environment, be self-motivated, be able to set priorities, work well under pressure, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to project a positive and professional attitude in person, on the telephone, and in correspondence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
  • Experience in higher education, particularly admissions and recruitment. Experience with medical education. Experience with a Customer Relationship Management system, specifically Slate.
