Import Entry Writer Job at Elgen Staffing in Secaucus

Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding and logistics, has an immediate need for an experienced Import Entry Writer, to join their winning team in Secaucus.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Manage customs entries for company clients
• Accurate and timely filing of Import Security Filing for company clients
• Correspond with clients regarding ISF, documents, classification, customs / PGA issues, exams/holds, etc.
• Ensure accuracy of commercial documents for Customs entry
• Maintain and manage client product HTS databases
• Monitor, track and tracing client shipments
• Ensure accurate and timely transmission of CBP & PGA entries of assigned clients
• Communicate with CBP, OGA’s, SSL, forwarders, and terminals to resolve clearance issues
• Process / monitors Post Summary filings
• Currently this will be CHB entry writing only. No dispatch, finance.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years CHB experience – a must have
• Customs and PGA business understanding
• Ability to work with standard business technology tools – Descartes One View CHB software
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task
• Research, excellent conflict resolution/creative problem-solving, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
