Bennett Creative is hiring: Videographer / Video Editor in Austin

We're seeking a passionate and driven Videographer / Video Editor to join our creative team. This is a dynamic role for someone who is equal parts creative thinker and skilled technician, with the ability to shoot, edit and be part of the writing process. The ideal candidate is AI-forward, eager to innovate, and interested in growing into a Video Director role within a year or two.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for a variety of projects.
• Assist with writing compelling and creative scripts for diverse video content, from social media to commercial campaigns.
• Operate cameras and other production equipment to capture high-quality, cinematic footage.
• Video editing for various projects, from logging footage to color grading and sound design, using the Adobe Premiere, After Effects & DaVinci.
• Bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table, particularly regarding the use of AI tools in pre-production and post-production workflows.
• Work on a wide range of projects, including social media content, corporate event coverage, and high-end commercials.
• Maintain an organized workflow, ensuring all assets are managed efficiently and projects are delivered on time.
• Travel about once a month for projects, sometimes for multiple days. Expect to be out of town a few nights per quarter.

YOUR SKILLS

• Proven experience in commercial video production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work as both a videographer and an editor.
• Proficiency in the technical aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting, data management, and editing in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with and a forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI in the creative process.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a flexible and adaptable mindset for a fast-paced environment.
• A strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering top-tier creative content.
• Motivation to grow and develop into a leadership role, with a desire to take on more creative direction responsibilities over time.

BONUS POINTS

• Experience with creating :30 commercials & viral social media content, rather than music videos, short films, or docu-style.
• Color grading skills
• Graphic design skills

SALARY + BENEFITS

$60k - $80k / year depending on experience and skillset

• Must currently be Austin-based.
• Must have your own computer
• Must have your own car and valid driver's license
• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States
