Audio Visual Technician – Bring Live Events to Life at our client in the Big Apple!

Are you a multi-camera wizard with a passion for flawless productions, live shows, and cutting-edge AV tech? Ready to play a vital role in high-stakes events at one of the most important institutions in the country? Maslow Media Group is seeking an Audio Visual Technician who thrives under pressure, operates with precision, and brings energy to every project.

This is a full-time, long term position onsite at our client in New York City.

What You’ll Do

• Be the AV powerhouse behind live events, meetings, and conferences.
• Operate cameras, audio gear, mixers, and videoconferencing tools like a pro.
• Direct multi-camera productions and edit footage into polished final products.
• Set up ad hoc studio environments and troubleshoot tech like a boss.
• Ensure all systems are ready to roll – test, maintain, and perfect every connection.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to bring their vision to life.
• Train new technicians and help shape an organized, smooth-running AV operation.

• Experience as a Technical Director for live, multi-camera productions
• Pro-level skills in videography, audio engineering, and studio operations
• Mastery of audio mixers (Dante), editing software (Premiere), and control room systems
• You’re fluent in both Mac and PC systems and understand AV tech like second nature
• A knack for creative problem-solving and staying calm under pressure
• A client-first mindset—you're as good with people as you are with gear
