About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and hands-on Performance Media Analyst - Facebook/Meta to join our performance marketing team. You’ll be the driving force behind our paid social media campaigns on Meta, focused on achieving CPA, LTV, ROAS, and conversion volume targets. This is a high-impact, hands on role where you’ll own and optimize the Facebook advertising funnel to meet aggressive growth objectives.
The ideal candidate will bring not only strong analytical acumen but also a creative mindset—understanding what ad creatives resonate and why, and contributing directly to ideation and development of new concepts that improve engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the Facebook Ads strategy including campaign structure, audience segmentation, creative testing frameworks, and data strategy to achieve key performance targets such as CPA, LTV, ROAS, and conversion volume.
- Maintain full ownership of the P&L for your channels, making strategic decisions to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and margin contribution.
- Design and implement innovative testing roadmaps to identify winning creative, funnel, and audience strategies that drive growth and scale.
- Collaborate closely with creative, product, engineering, and analytics teams to brainstorm, brief, and develop high-performing creative assets and landing page experiences that align with our growth goals.
- Continuously optimize campaigns through data-driven analysis and insights, pivoting media and creative strategies to maximize ROAS and drive down CPA.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Facebook Ads, educating and influencing stakeholders on best practices, trends, and opportunities to keep us ahead of the competition.
- Build robust testing frameworks, document learnings, and proactively share insights across the marketing team to accelerate growth.
- Tie Facebook Ads performance directly to broader company objectives, demonstrating how your work contributes to overall top-line growth and customer acquisition strategy.
- Contribute to ideation and iteration of new ad creatives—including static imagery, short-form video scripts, headlines, and body copy—based on performance insights, trends, and platform best practices.
- Help define hypotheses around why certain creative formats succeed or fail, and guide systematic testing to validate these assumptions across various stages of the funnel.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Facebook Ads in a growth environment. (DTC/CPG, affiliate preferred)
- Proven experience managing a media buying P&L, with ownership over spend efficiency and profitability.
- Strong track record of hitting margin goals across multiple advertiser accounts, balancing scale and efficiency.
- Ability to manage compliance and risk within paid media campaigns, especially in high-scrutiny verticals or regulated categories.
- Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data, draw insights, and make actionable recommendations.
- Experience generating and validating new creative concepts, including headlines, descriptions, and images.
- Understanding of ad creative psychology and conversion principles, with ability to identify why certain formats or messaging styles work.
- Background in creative testing strategy and production—including generating and sourcing scripts, hooks, b-roll, and talent.
- Experience collaborating across creative, product, engineering, and analytics functions.
- Demonstrated ability to generate and execute net new media and creative ideas that drive growth
- Strong ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to leverage AI in solving complex business problems
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with advanced campaign management platforms that support creative testing, dynamic ads, and bid automation.
- Experience working with and interpreting first-party data integrations to optimize Facebook campaigns.
- Knowledge of using advanced analytics tools (e.g., Sigma) to build custom reports and dashboards that track key KPIs.
- Background in creative ideation and iterative testing (e.g., dynamic creative testing, landing page testing) to drive performance improvements.
- Comfort collaborating with engineering or product teams to set up and troubleshoot Meta pixel and Conversions API for accurate measurement and advanced event tracking.
- Ability to brief and review creative assets with an eye for performance effectiveness, ensuring alignment with hypothesis-driven testing.
