Overview
Full-time position, 40 hours/week | Monday to Friday with flexible hours
This role involves inspection, servicing, installation, repair, and construction of electronic and computer systems and devices supported by the Facilities department. Responsibilities include modifying and supporting complex computer operating systems such as Netware, NT, Unix, VMS, and related hardware and communication environments. The position also entails providing telecommunications, storage management, system monitoring, and performance tuning. Additional duties include installing, customizing, and maintaining server-based network applications, local and server-based network video systems, and IP camera security systems.
The candidate may need to access confidential patient data to implement and maintain systems. Expertise in Linux and related hardware and communication environments is required. The role also involves maintaining various electronic systems managed by Facility Operations, including but not limited to Audio/Video integration, Nurse Call servers and software (Procare 2000, Procare 6000, Telligence), fire alarms, telelift systems, C-cure, Security Camera software (NICE, American Dynamics), HUGS, and Building Automation systems (EBMS, JCI Metasys, Siemens).
Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree in Electronics or Computer Information with at least five years of experience. Alternatively, four additional years of relevant experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: A valid Florida driver's license.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will operate vehicles for assigned business purposes as a 'non-frequent driver'.
