About the Role
Global X is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Content Marketing Strategist (analyst/associate level) with a focus on Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) to join our passionate New York based Marketing team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing skills and have an interest in Financial Services and Asset Management with 2-5 years of relevant work experience. Reporting to the Editorial Director and VP of Content Marketing Strategy, the Content Marketing Strategist will aid in the development and execution of the firm’s comprehensive content strategy, designed to drive awareness and engagement around our expansive ETF product suite. Marketing activities will include shaping and supporting the creation of thought leadership pieces, collateral development, and ongoing campaign monitoring/analytics to ensure the continued success of our ETF lineup. This person will work closely across Research, Sales, Investment Strategy, Compliance, and cross-functionally within the Marketing team.
About the Global X Marketing Team
We are a full-scale, in-house marketing team that supports and drives business objectives through creativity and innovation, backed by metrics and results. Primarily based in New York, our team is broken out into verticals covering sales channels, products, thought leadership, advertising channels, design, events, digital marketing, media, and analytics. We function collaboratively across functional areas to achieve exceptional results. We partner closely with Research, Sales, Product Research/Management, Investment Strategy, and Compliance/Legal to create compelling narratives, positioning, and integrated campaigns that deliver our value proposition to clients and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a multi-channel content strategy aligned with product positioning, brand objectives, and business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Research, Investment Strategy, Sales, and Compliance to build an editorial calendar focused on key themes, product launches, and market narratives.
- Write, edit, and optimize a diverse array of content, including blog posts, investment insights, whitepapers, product collateral, video scripts, Global X-sponsored events, webinars, etc.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across web/digital, social media, email, and product marketing.
- Lead in the amplification of thought leadership content through email campaigns, social media posts, press releases, etc.
- Maintain a consistent voice and tone across all communications, to both advisor and retail investor audiences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex financial concepts into digestible, engaging narratives.
- Work closely with the Design team to bring content to life visually.
- In partnership with Business Analytics, establish tracking mechanisms for marketing tactics, actively measuring and reporting on ROI and key performance metrics.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business, Journalism, or related field.
- 2-5 years experience in a similar role, or with transferrable skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented individual focused on quality, even when working at speed.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional writing/editing skills and a deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and the ETF landscape.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Experience in Financial Services is a must.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and analytics platforms.

For New York City Only
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000. In addition, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits package. The total compensation package for this position may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
