The role of Live Blog News Editor is a newsroom leadership position, requiring sharp editorial judgment, people-first management, and the ability to steer live coverage of major stories.
You will oversee the editorial direction, daily execution, and long-term strategy for AP’s live blogs, which serve as a destination for real-time reporting on breaking news, major events, and cultural moments. This role involves managing journalists across time zones and formats, working closely with visuals and product teams to ensure that live blogs inform, engage, and serve audiences worldwide.
