This role is optional work from home in Wisconsin if you live outside a 40-miles radius from one of our WI locations; Wausau, WI, Appleton, WI and Madison, WI.

Scope Of Role

The Shrink Film Product Line Manager will have deep, hands-on expertise in shrink film applications—particularly in large-scale industrial environments. This role requires both strategic vision and boots-on-the-ground technical knowledge, particularly around automation systems that leverage shrink film in high-volume production environments. The Shrink Film Product Line Manager will utilize previous direct experience working with shrink film technologies, packaging lines, and end-of-line automation. Mechanical aptitude, field experience, and a proven history of driving results are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Rocket Industrial’s subject matter expert (SME) in shrink film and related automation.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and automation teams to support major industrial accounts with shrink film solutions.
• Lead product line strategy including vendor selection, inventory recommendations, pricing strategy, and application engineering.
• Support on-site evaluations, film trials, and equipment startups at client locations.
• Provide technical guidance on film selection, gauge optimization, and application troubleshooting to maximize performance and reduce costs.
• Train internal teams and customers on shrink film innovations, application best practices, and value engineering opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for innovation, partnership, and product differentiation.
• Partner with Marketing to develop go-to-market materials, case studies, and technical content.
• Travel as needed (30–50%) across the Midwest to customer sites and Rocket’s technical centers.

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• 5–10 years of experience in shrink film applications, preferably in large industrial or manufacturing environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Problem solving and decision making abilities
