GENERAL FUNCTION:
- Provide support for overall program/effort management.
- Support all phases of equipment lifecycle: design, test, production, procurement, supply, operation, repair, disposal.
- Assist in developing or revising equipment maintenance programs.
- Offer technical input for maintenance, operation, sustainment, and training of complex systems and equipment.
- Provide recommendations for systems, subsystems, and support equipment.
- Participate in preparation and maintenance of Technical Orders (TOs).
- Ensure accuracy, adequacy, classification, and review of TO procedures and content.
- Provide technical support for system modifications and configuration control.
- Work with IPTs to develop and process modification packages.
- Support System Engineer in maintaining Configuration Management (CM).
- Assist during Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), System Verification Review (SVR), and Physical Configuration Audit (PCA).
- Review and provide feedback on technical suggestions under the Airmen Powered by Innovation (API) Program.
- Provide technical help in resolving complex issues or design deficiencies via the Deficiency Reporting and Investigation System (DRIS).
- Support management of software through Computer Program Identification Number (CPIN) for distribution and CM.
- Assist in provisioning process and Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) submissions.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements and identify possible modifications to existing equipment.
- Support data collection and monitoring under the Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Program.
- Help input and retrieve data from Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS).
- Assist with technical analysis for Deficiency Reports (DR) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Supply DRs.
- Perform technical reviews, validations, changes, and interpretation of engineering drawings and technical data.
- Master’s degree (MA/MS) and ten years of relevant experience OR BA/BS degree, and 12 years of relevant experience.
- Mustobtain and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret Level.
- Mustbe proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, and other standard (Customer specified) applications.)
