ASCENDtials assists the BIPOC community in dismantling institutionalized Isms within the U.S. workforce by offering empowering workshops. Our non-profit organization focuses on building cosmic consciousness through experiential learning programs, healing sessions, workshops, and environmental initiatives to advocate for humanity and the environment.

As the Editorial Lead, you'll guide the ASCENDtials editorial team in enhancing critical consciousness by providing educational tools, materials, and training courses that promote self-awareness, community, environmental care, and a sense of Oneness. You should be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable managing publication processes, team meetings, and content updates. Strong writing skills and familiarity with various platforms are essential, along with a love for learning and team contribution.

Success in this role includes:

• Managing daily content publishing, including formatting and visuals
• Updating content for accuracy, SEO, and reader experience
• Ensuring compliance and disclosures
• Maintaining documentation
• Fact-checking and copyediting
• Collaborating with the Copyediting team
• Growing the ASCENDtials brand as a hub for personal growth and social change

Requirements:

• Experience with online content publication
• Leadership and team management skills
• Remote work experience
• Independent decision-making ability
• Attention to detail and organization
• Proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, and CRM tools like WordPress
• Familiarity with project management tools (Airtable, Trello, Asana)
• Basic knowledge of The Chicago Manual of Style, HTML, and SEO is a plus
