The SEM Specialist collaborates cross-functionally to leverage data and analytics to drive our go-to-market strategies and campaigns. The Specialist is responsible for planning, building, and optimizing how we engage with members through search engine marketing (SEM).

What You Will Do

  • Execute search engine marketing strategies and campaigns, working with SEM Operations and the broader digital team to develop strategies for testing all SEM elements including ad copy in various markets and verticals.
  • Drive keyword research and strategy (Paid and organic), coordinating with internal partners, agencies, and vendors on campaign initiatives.
  • Maintain keywords, targeting, and account settings; implement, track, and adjust budgets and bids for paid search campaigns using tools like Adobe Advertising and Google AdWords.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to business line leaders on campaign performance.
  • Respond to business line requests promptly, providing analysis, solutions, and recommendations with close follow-up.
  • Communicate key marketing information to creative teams and e-business departments.
  • Manage and traffic all SEM marketing jobs, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze and report on campaign results, identify trends, and recommend optimizations for spend and conversions, presenting findings to team members and clients.
  • Assist business lines in market positioning by understanding customer and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management to define creative strategies and success metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or 6-8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • 3+ years of holistic SEM management (agency or client-side).
  • 1+ years experience with Adobe Advertising preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Mastery of search tools including Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads).
  • Familiarity with SA360, DCM, Floodlight, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in ad development and knowledge of paid search ad types.
  • Experience with YouTube OLV campaigns, digital marketing tactics, and measurement.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and deliver results.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Google AdWords Certification
  • Microsoft Ads Certification

Salary

The pay range for this Garden City, NY position is $79,100 - $89,850, with potential bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellness, 401k (6% match), and other employee perks.
