The Studio Technician operates various equipment (cameras, audio, lighting, etc.) used for daily production.

• Operate studio equipment for daily live newscasts and other studio productions, including cameras, audio, lighting, and other systems as needed.
• Work closely with the director, other studio crew members, and on-air talent to ensure all productions are executed smoothly and as planned.
• Set up special segments, including audio equipment, tables, chairs, props, and other items as needed.
• Assist in the operation and daily maintenance of the studios and all equipment within.
• Interact professionally with outside guests, and prepare them for studio appearances with verbal instructions and setup of their microphones and other items.
• Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Willingness to work outside of normal schedule as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail, and strong communication and organization skills are essential.
• Ability to handle high-stress environments with deadline pressures.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in television, film, or postproduction preferred.
