The Role of a CorePower Yoga Instructor

As an instructor, you will deliver a welcoming experience, guide students through classes, and embody our core values. You will foster supportive relationships and ensure safety and approachability for all students.

Essential Job Duties

• Teach at least two (2) classes per week, totaling a minimum of 4 hours in studio
• Educate students on alignment, offer modifications, and use CPY cueing formulas
• Be available 30 minutes before and after classes for student interaction and class planning
• Connect with students to support their growth and community engagement
• Manage front desk duties, including check-in, POS transactions, and creating a memorable experience
• Maintain cleanliness standards as per CPY protocols
• Uphold studio environment by embodying core values and fostering positive relationships
• Promote CPY initiatives and business streams, including memberships, programming, retail, etc.

Skills & Experience

• Completed 200-hour yoga teacher training (pre- or post-June 2020) with additional continuing education as specified
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Ability to lead physical activity for up to 1.5 hours and withstand heated class conditions
• Ability to move freely around the studio, including crouching, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
