The Apple Design team conceptualizes, designs, and creates the user experience for all Apple products, services, and accessories. This is an opportunity to design with language and to represent writing as an essential part of the process.

Description

As a model writer on the Design Team, you’ll need a deep interest in writing that is concise, considered, and useful. It’s your responsibility to craft language that our models can both use and learn from, as well as be an active participant in the design process. You’ll be expected to recognize poor user experiences and have the passion and perseverance to create excellent ones. You’ll collaborate with model designers to ensure all elements of the experience work seamlessly together. Additionally, you’ll work with engineers to address challenging details, incorporate feedback, question assumptions, and articulate your point of view. This role also involves contributing to broader discussions about style and voice across Apple.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience as a writer.
• A broad knowledge of Apple domains, platforms, and approaches.
• A deep interest in iterative content design, experimentation, and prototyping.
• An understanding of how technical stacks and architecture influence writing and design.
• A willingness to see writing as a collaborative effort.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
