About the Role:
As the Leasing and Marketing Professional at Mulberry Farms—a 55+ active adult rental community—you’ll be responsible for attracting new residents, supporting renewals, and maintaining strong occupancy through effective marketing and community engagement. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospects and a key part of the resident experience. This is a part-time position scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, reporting directly to the Community Manager and working closely with the Marketplace Homes operations and leasing support team.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing, Marketing & Resident Experience

  • Guide prospects through the leasing process from inquiry to signed lease.
  • Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct community tours and follow up with prospects to maximize conversions.
  • Understand and explain lease terms, fees and resident qualification criteria.
  • Support renewal efforts by building rapport with residents and issuing renewal communications.
  • Assist with short-term lease and concession documentation when needed.
  • Maintain online listings and manage property reputation on review and lead sites.
  • Post updates and engage the community through social media.
  • Participate in community engagement efforts, event promotion, and resident-facing handouts.
  • Maintain marketing materials, flyers, and printed collateral.

Operational Support

  • Prepare and update daily leasing activity reports in Revela.
  • Perform daily walk-throughs of model units and leasing paths to ensure readiness.
  • Maintain prospect and resident notes in property management system.
  • Log and distribute packages and issue notifications.
  • Enter and follow up on maintenance requests when necessary.
  • Support move-in and move-out processes, including walkthroughs and key exchanges.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to team initiatives.
  • Enforce community policies and report violations to the Community Manager.
  • Assist with compliance documentation (e.g., RLL insurance updates, HOPA checks).

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of leasing or customer-facing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with leasing software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with digital tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability to work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays is required.
