Job Title: Assembler/Bander

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment such as nutting, banding, strapping, wrapping, and other departmental equipment to produce and prepare quality products for shipment.
• Perform processes including assembling, painting, palletizing, filing, bundling, banding, nutting, sorting, twisting, and deburring.
• Conduct visual inspections, separate parts, identify, tag, count, and record production and scrap data, and maintain required production records.
• Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required.
• Maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and perform repetitive work for at least eight hours.
• Walk, see, and use both hands fully.
• Handle heavy weights and vibrations from equipment during highly repetitive work.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to above the waist and place on timbers.
• Operate stapling machines with one hand to staple items.
