Position Summary
e.l.f. Beauty is seeking a Community Manager to engage our growing community. The Community Manager will connect with fans on social media, manage inbound inquiries, lead proactive engagement, track feedback, and identify ways to celebrate our customers both online and offline, aligning with our broader community strategy. The ideal candidate is deeply engaged with social media and the beauty landscape, has a strong editorial voice, and a proactive approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor community inbound across all social platforms, responding to queries, user content, and industry trends.
- Conduct positive outreach to increase brand awareness and foster brand loyalty.
- Escalate consumer inquiries to relevant channel leads.
- Create responsive copy based on inbound volume and trending topics.
- Engage actively with our audience through likes, comments, and messages.
- Maintain a rapid response approach to customer interactions.
- Coordinate with the customer service team regarding orders and promotions.
- Identify new content trends and opportunities for social channels.
- Provide weekly insights on community feedback, trending conversations, and competitor analysis.
Requirements
- Experience in consumer communication across social media platforms, primarily Instagram and TikTok, with potential experience on YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitch.
- Strong interest in social media marketing, with excellent written communication, copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience in growing and scaling digital communities is a plus.
- Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
- Culturally aware and curious about industry trends and brand activities.
- Ability to act quickly and in real-time.
- Passion for beauty and industry platforms/tools like Hootsuite, Sprout, Dash Hudson, CreatorIQ, etc.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
