Digital Content Librarian (TeachingBooks) Job at OverDrive in Cleveland

This position will require you to be in the Greater Cleveland, OH area We are presently in a hybrid schedule, 2 days on campus and 3 days WFH u00A0 The Digital Content Librarian is responsible for growing and maintaining the TeachingBooks collection by selecting online resources and cataloging them along with their associated bibliographic metadata. u00A0 u00A0 Responsibilities:

• Select and catalog resources about childrenu2019s and young adult literature and creators of such literature in accordance with the TeachingBooks Collection Development Policy and Classification Manual though assigned projects. u00A0
• Catalog bibliographic metadata to comply with the TeachingBooks Classification Manual. u00A0
• Special projects as assigned. u00A0
• Other duties as assigned . u00A0

Requirements: u00A0

• Masteru2019s Degree in Library Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. u00A0
• 1-3 years of related experience in cataloging or collection development. u00A0
• Experience selecting or using books for instruction in PK-12 settings (library, school, etc.) u00A0
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. u00A0
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. u00A0
• Strong knowledge of books, education, and/or the library industry. u00A0
• Ability to consistently identify and correct subtle details in digital forms and text u00A0
• Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and objectives , meet timelines, and provide updates. u00A0
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office.
• Enough comfort with HTML tou00A0 identify relevant code. u00A0
